III · About the place

Paradisus. Since 1449.

That's what 15th-century Genoese sailors called this place: Paradisus. The village got its modern name later: in 1878 Prince Lev Golitsyn arrived to found Russia's first champagne winery. In 1900 his "Novy Svet" won the Grand Prix at the Paris World's Fair.

Novy Svet is three bays — Green, Blue, and Sky-Blue — a thousand-year-old juniper grove, and a cliff-side trail where Chaliapin himself once loved to walk when visiting Golitsyn.

Check-in is from 2 PM, check-out by 11 AM. If your flight lands late at night or early morning, let us know at booking — we'll try to receive you earlier. Late check-out — by arrangement, depending on the next guests.
At booking — 20% prepayment (no less than one night's cost). The balance — cash or transfer on arrival. We accept transfers to Sberbank and T-Bank. Full refund for cancellation 30+ days before arrival.
Children — most welcome; under 5 stay free. Please tell us in advance how many children and their ages. Pets — by prior agreement, message Marina and we'll discuss.
Free parking at House #1 and the Golitsyna apartments. At House #5 — guarded lot opposite the entrance: 300 ₽ per night. In peak season we recommend arriving in the morning — easier to find a spot.
Our transfer meets you right at the train or taxi stand. Simferopol Rail Station → Novy Svet — 4,500 ₽, Vladislavovka → Novy Svet — 3,500 ₽. Comfort-class car with AC. Book in advance, ideally a day ahead.
